What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 p.m on November 11th. We kindly ask guests to arrive 15-20 minutes before the ceremony start time.

Where is the ceremony/reception taking place?

The ceremony and reception will both be at The Island House. Their address is: 2658 Swygert Blvd, Johns Island, SC 29455

When are the RSVPs due?

We’d love to know if you can make it (we hope you can!). Please RSVP by October 3rd, 2022 using our RSVP link here (withjoy.com/aubree-and-jason).

Is there a dress code?

We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to wear your favorite cocktail attire!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We have hired two experienced photographers/videographers for our wedding day. We kindly request you to keep your phones away and on silent to be truly present during our ceremony!

Any other special attire notes we should know?

Temperatures tend to dip a bit at night in Charleston early November, and since the wedding will be outside you might want to bring a jacket or wrap. However there will also be heaters to help keep guests warm.

Will parking be available?

Yes! There will be parking at the venue site for guests to use.

Will transportation be provided to the ceremony and/or reception?

We will have bus transportation for our guests at both hotel blocks (TownPlace Suites Charleston-West Ashley and Hilton Garden Inn Charleston Waterfront/Downtown). Please fill out our survey to indicate your transportation needs: Ashdown-Damm Transportation Survey

Pick-up time for Hilton Garden Inn: 3:00 PM

Pick-up time for TownePlace Suites: 3:30 PM

PLEASE NOTE: Parking availability will be limited at the TownePlace Suites and parking on-site is not available for those who are not staying at the hotel at the Hilton Garden Inn. We suggest Uber/Lyft to the hotel blocks if you are not staying at one of the hotels and want to use the transportation provided.

If not driving/carpooling to the venue, we highly recommend the use of Uber/Lyft apps if you plan on consuming alcohol. Please note that Uber/Lyft from Johns Island at night is limited. Your vehicle is allowed to stay at the venue overnight if needed, but will need to be picked up promptly by 8AM the next morning.

Can I bring a date?

In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!

Where are you registered at?
